Shirotori Dance

From to 20:00 - 22:00

This festival is held every year from mid-July to September, but most notable is the All Night Dance between August 13-15. This is a traditional Bon Odori with about 400 years of history, featuring a light tempo that is popular among young people. It is also characterized by the “worship hall dance” where Kiriko lanterns are hung in the hall of the shrine as people dance. This is a rustic dance that is said to be the original prototype of bon odori.
