Ōoka Echizen Festival

This festival is held every year for a weekend that’s sometime in end of April or mid-May. The festival features a lively parade in which people can volunteer to participate by dressing in traditional costumes and samurai outfits. There is music, chanting, and the carrying of portable mikoshi shrines. The procession takes place in the area around Chigasaki Station and travels about 2km.
