Manjū Festival

A festival held in remembrance of Rinjyonin, who came from China to Japan and is said to have made the first Manjū (steamed bun) in Japan. Candy makers from all over Japan dedicate excellent homemade candies or sweets to the god. A Noh play performance is also dedicated. After general events such as the dedication of Manjū, Matcha tea will all be provided for free.
