Futagami Imizu Jinja Tsukiyama Gyoji

In ancient faith, it is said that God is in heaven, and during the festival, people came to greet God at the altar built in front of Sanbonsugi (three big cedars) and pray for an abundant harvest. Following the lion dance, portable mikoshi shrines are carried around. When the ritual is over, the altar is immediately demolished so that God will not get angry. This festival is designated as Toyama prefecture intangible folk cultural asset.
